Christa Madrid is a Bible school graduate and licensed minister. She has served in her church for many years and has gone on international missions trips.
Christa is also a prolific writer.Β She enjoys writing faith-based blog and newspaper articles, and is the author novels, nonfiction books, and devotionals, all found on Amazon.
Along with her church ministry and writing, Christa loves spending time with her husband Michael and daughter Amaris in their home in the Texas Panhandle.
While our culture wears us out with discouraging reports and disheartening entertainment that only leaves us weak and hopeless, Christa’s goal is to provide words that build up rather than tear down. Words that bless and don’t curse. Words that impart love and not hate. Words that motivate every Christian to go higher through God’s grace.

Thank you for following my blog Christa. You are a very inspiring person. I would love to hear about how you went about getting your books into publication. I have a few that I would love to get out there, but need the window to open as to how. Thank you Meghan

Hello! Good to here from a fellow blogger! I have not been professionally published, but have created my own works and put them on Amazon Kindle (totally free and growing in popularity). The short stories I have taken to a local printing company and had them printed for a few dollars. I’ve sold the hard copies at church mostly. There are other ways to self-publish via kindle, but I’m still researching those. I have had a friend who has self-published on WestBow Press, but of course you have to pay for those (includes editing)! My goal is to complete a nonfiction I’m working on and to send it to a professional publisher where they will accept and distribute it at their cost. A book I have for finding such publishers and the type of books they’ll publish is the Christian Writer’s Market Guide. It takes work, but if we’re called to write through different venues, God will open the doors! Hope that helps! I’m a beginner, too!

Thank you! Nice to know that I can do it too. How did you get the covers for the books? Was that free too? They are very nice. Thanks for getting back to me. Meghan

You’re very welcome! My brother and I created the covers on PhotoShop ($70) so we could customize them to my theme. They can be easily uploaded on to Amazon Kindle. Amazon Kindle (www.kdp.com) has premade covers that are free, though they may be generic. Let me know if you create a book so I can read them too! Blessings! – Christa

Yes we are Royalty Christa as Children of The Eternal King, created to be Helpmates to those men who are in Authority over us and in this very important God given role we are valued highly by Him, He cherishes us and delights in our faithfulness to Love Him and others. How wonderful that He is always with us regardless of the Trouble that comes to us in Life.
Isaiah 43:1-3 β Do not be afraid, for I have ransomed you. I have called you by name; you are mine. When you go through deep waters and great trouble, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown! When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you. For I am the LORD, your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Saviour.β
Jeremiah 29 :11-12 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.
Lamentations 3: 33 For God doth not afflict willingly nor grieve the children of men.
