A previous pastor of mine, Pastor Jim Loper, once experienced a physical challenge. God told him to write down everything he knew about divine healing. This is what Pastor Loper wrote and recently shared with us at my church. I felt impressed to share it with you. I hope it encourages you to know it’s God’s will is heal our bodies!
- I know there is a cure for all sickness and disease: the faith cure.
And He said to her, “Daughter, your faith has made you well. Go in peace, and be healed of your affliction.” (Mark 5:34)
And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. (James 5:15)
- I know there is medicine: God’s Word.
My son, give attention to my words; incline your ear to my sayings. Do not let them depart from your eyes; keep them in the midst of your heart; for they are life to those who find them, and health to all their flesh. (Proverbs 4:20-22
- I know there is a means by which man can be healed: the Name of Jesus.
And His name, through faith in His name, has made this man strong, whom you see and know. Yes, the faith which comes through Him has given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all. (Acts 3:16)
- I know that it is God’s will for all to be healed.
Bless the Lord, O my soul; and all that is within me, bless His holy name! Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits: who forgives all your iniquities, who heals all your diseases… (Psalm 103:1-3)
- I know I have my healing now because I’ve asked in line with the Name of Jesus and God’s will.
Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him. (1 John 5:14-15)
- I know what I believe in my heart and say with my mouth will come to pass.
For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says. Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them. (Mark 11:23, 24)
- I know when I speak to a mountain in Jesus Name, it’s equal to Jesus speaking.
And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him. (Colossians 3:17)
- I know that my faith works.
“Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life.” (John 5:24)
