Why It’s God’s Will to Heal Me

Have you ever battled a sickness and weren’t quite sure if it was God’s will to heal you? We find God’s will for every situation from His Word, the Bible. The following is a list of reasons why it is God’s irrefutable will that you be well and whole! I encourage you to study these verses until the truth of God’s Word gets deep into your heart, and you can stand confidently, trusting God with your health!

  1. It’s His good pleasure to give me the Kingdom, and the Kingdom includes everything I need. (Luke 12:22-32)
  2. He gave me His Word as medicine. (Proverbs 4:20-22)
  3. No sickness was in His original creation. (Genesis 1)
  4. He wants His will to be done in my life as it is in Heaven, and there is no sickness in Heaven. (Luke 11:2-4)
  5. Sickness is from the devil, and He defeated the devil for me. (John 10:10; 1 John 3:8; Acts 10:38)
  6. God made a covenant with me that includes healing. (Deuteronomy 7:9; Deuteronomy 28; Galatians 3:14-29)
  7. God is my Physician, my Healer. (Exodus 15:26)
  8. Healing was purchased for me at the same time as my forgiveness on the Cross. (Isaiah 53:4,5; Romans 8:31-32)
  9. Sickness is part of the curse of the law and I’ve been redeemed from it. (Deuteronomy 28; Galatians 3:13)
  10. God is my good and perfect Father who does not abuse me with sickness. (Psalm 103:3; Matthew 7:9)
  11. Healing is part of my “children’s bread.” (Matthew 15:21-28)
  12. Healing is part of God’s mercy toward me. (2 Corinthians 1:3; Matthew 15:21-28)
  13. He gave me authority over demons and disease. (Luke 10:19; Mark 16:15-18)
  14. Healing was part of Jesus’ ministry, and He is the same yesterday, today, and forever. (Hebrews 13:8; Matthew 9:35)
  15. He commissioned me to lay hands on the sick. (Mark 16:17-18; James 5:14)
  16. He is my Good Shepherd who watches out for me and supplies all I need. (Psalm 23)
  17. He created the Gifts of Healings for the Body of Christ. (1 Corinthians 12)
  18. He has promised me a long life. (Psalm 91:16; Exodus 23:26; Ephesians 6:1-3)
  19. I am part of Christ’s Body; He would not want His body sick. (1 Corinthians 12:27; 1 Corinthians 6:15; 2 Corinthians 4:10)
  20. My body is the Temple of the Holy Spirit; He would not want His Temple sick. (1 Corinthians 6:19)
  21. I am God’s king, priest, and bride, and I represent Him. (Revelation 1:6; 1 Peter 2:9; Ephesians 5:25-27; Revelation 19:7-9)
  22. My body is a Living Sacrifice, holy and acceptable for Him; the devil has no right to be a part of me. (Romans 12:1)
  23. He is the Vine and I am one of His branches; nothing but life flows from Him to me. (John 15:5)
  24. Healing is one of His benefits for me. (Psalm 103:1-3)
  25. Healing is part of the prosperity that He desires for me. (3 John 2)
  26. He commissions angels to protect me from sickness. (Psalm 91:10-11)
  27. He gives me good gifts, including healing. (Matthew 7:11, James 1:17, Acts 10:38)
  28. Jesus only did the will of the Father while on the earth, which included healing the sick. (John 6:38)
  29. Jesus came to give me life and healing, not destruction. (John 10:10)
  30. Jesus is the Word, and He was sent to heal me. (Psalm 107:20)
  31. The Holy Spirit lives in me and gives life to my body. (Romans 8:11)

 

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. (Hebrews 13:8)

“For I am the Lord, I do not change…” (Malachi 3:6a)
