The Results of Love
Like Love operates, blessings follow those who walk in love. It is the result of putting His way first, regardless of how we feel.
- Things work together for our good.
(Romans 8:28 KJV) And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
- Nothing separates us from it.
(Romans 8:35 KJV) Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
(Romans 8:39 KJV) Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
- Mercy is given.
(Deuteronomy 5:10 KJV) And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me and keep my commandments.
- Blessings come.
(Deuteronomy 7:13 KJV) And he will love thee, and bless thee, and multiply thee: he will also bless the fruit of thy womb, and the fruit of thy land, thy corn, and thy wine, and thine oil, the increase of thy kine, and the flocks of thy sheep, in the land which he sware unto thy fathers to give thee.
- Provides protection.
(Psalm 91:14 KJV) Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.
- Causes us to be unified.
(Philippians 2:2 KJV) Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind.
(Colossians 2:2 KJV) That their hearts might be comforted, being knit together in love, and unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the acknowledgement of the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ;
- God keeps His covenant.
(Deuteronomy 7:9 KJV) Know therefore that the LORD thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations;
- God manifests Himself.
(John 14:21 KJV) He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.
(John 14:23 KJV) Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.
- God knows us.
(1Corinthians 8:3 KJV) But if any man love God, the same is known of him.
- God fills us with Himself.
(Ephesians 3:19 KJV) And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.
- God gives us a crown of life.
(James 1:12 KJV) Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.
- God makes us heirs to His kingdom.
(James 2:5 KJV) Hearken, my beloved brethren, Hath not God chosen the poor of this world rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which he hath promised to them that love him?
- We become the sons of God.
(1John 3:1 KJV) Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.
