We often try to be strong in life by relying on our physical efforts: exercising, changing our diet, rearranging our finances, getting a better education, acquiring a better job, or getting married. These are all good goals, but true strength comes from “waiting on the Lord” (Isaiah 40:31). When putting God FIRST by giving Him our time and worship before anything else, He fills us with HIS strength. That strength, above anything we could do our own, is endless. It always pays to “be strong in the Lord and in the power of HIS might”! (Ephesians 6:10)
