Our position of submission to God’s leadership keeps us in line with His blessings . . . and the authority that belongs to us. No power can flow unless we’re living as if God were our boss. The devil recognizes rebellion and has no fear when he can see God’s power is not in our favor. Like a policeman has power because he’s employed by the police department, we have power because we are employed by God. We’re part of His team of law enforcers.
Luke 10:19: Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.
