Second Anniversary!

Wedding 2013

Two weeks ago, I posted the song “Yes” by John Waller.  It’s been one of my favorite for the last ten years or so.  It’s a great reminder of what faith in God’s unfailing promises will do!  It is especially meaningful to me because it was one of my theme songs when I was believing God for a husband.  It was a happy reminder I could sing and dance to, knowing God had heard my prayer!  It took over ten years, but I am happy to announce that today is our second wedding anniversary!  Two years ago today, we exited the church auditorium to the song “Yes”!

It’s not the song itself that is powerful; it’s God’s Word contained in it that gives it life.  It really doesn’t matter what the tune is, or how the syllables are arranged.  God was faithful to His Word . . . always has been and always will be!  Whatever you may be beleiving God for, remember that all His promises are “yes and amen”! (I Corinthians 1:20)  Don’t give up or lose faith!

“Yes” by John Waller

Ask, it shall be given to you
Seek and you will find
Knock and the door will open
And that’s a promise

He said He’ll finish the work He started in you
Your needs He will supply
He’ll never leave you nor forsake you
And that’s a promise

It’s a guarantee
It’s a beautiful thing
He delights to keep His word

God says yes to His promises
Take Him at His word
Yeah, you can believe it
God says yes to a child-like faith
When we claim everything He died to give
God says yes

He said, come all you weary ones
And He will give you rest
His strength is perfect in our weakness
And that’s a promise

God says yes to His promises
Take Him at His word
Yeah, you can believe it
God says yes to a child-like faith
When we claim everything He died to give
God says yes

If you have a testimony about God’s faithfulness to you, I would love to hear about it!  If you’d like to hear the full song, go to the March 2nd blog title “Patience Produces the Package.”  Be blessed!

P.S. I would like to add that I have the most Godly man of integrity you will ever meet!  I know if you’re married to a good man, you might not agree!  But as far as I’m concerned, he is my “dream come true”!
