Brighter 2015!

If we watch the news, it’s really easy to get depressed.  Fear is ever-ready to make its home in our minds.  Every time we turn around, we see or hear something that denies our faith.  But what God sees is much different; it’s bright!

“For I know the thoughts I have toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of good and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.” Jeremiah 29:11

“But the path of the just is like the shining sun, that shines ever brighter unto the perfect day.” Proverbs 4:18

This is a season to rejoice in who we are as God’s children – His royalty.  It might look bleak in the world, but our status and future has not changed.  Each year that passes brings us closer to Jesus’ return.  He is coming for a glorious, beautiful bride (Revelation 21:2), and He’s given us the wardrobe and accessories to make it possible!  And it’s not dingy; it’s bright, beautiful, and pure!
